Perfect for adventurous beginners and experienced knitters alike, this class is packed with small, powerful tips that can make a big difference in your projects. All levels are welcome, but participants should be comfortable with casting on/off and the knit and purl stitches.
Participants should bring a pair of 5mm needles (straight or circular) and 50g of aran weight yarn, which should be light colour and smooth (no textured or fluffy yarns.
Sophie Heathscott (she/her) has been crafting and making all her life, from dressmaking to ceramics. She learned to knit when she was knee-high to a sheep, and after studying Design at Goldsmiths, London, she fully wove herself into the knitting world – including being a Loopette for nearly 6 years! She is passionate about how making creates community and provides a remedy for overconsumption.
